Carriere Appliance

The Carriere Motion 3D Appliance was produced with the patient’s desire for esthetics, ease, and success in mind. Dr. Stormberg uses this appliance with a clear tray on the opposing arch at the beginning of the treatment, usually for about 3-6 months with good cooperation. Cooperation can greatly reduce overall treatment time. A clear holding tray will be placed on the opposing arch and worn with the elastics 24/7, except while eating or brushing. Remove elastics and clean tray to eat, drink and brush and replace tray and new elastics once finished (as soon as possible to get an optimal of 20-22 hours of wear).

Waiting For Molars

Once the molars (back teeth) are in their proper position, the second stage of treatment can begin (Invisalign or braces).

They Can Break and Stain 

Avoid hard, sticky foods that could break off the appliances. We suggest only drinking water with the clear trays to avoid discoloration. Remove the tray while eating or drinking things other than water and brush the tray and your teeth prior to placing it into your mouth.
