The iTero Imaging Process

Traditionally, orthodontic offices would take putty impressions of their patient’s teeth, which are uncomfortable, messy and most importantly, time consuming. However, at our office, we’ve made the patient experience much smoother, timely and comfortable with iTero digital scans.

Using a digital scanner, Dr. Stromberg will take 3-D digital images of your teeth and bite, that will help him create a customized treatment plan for you. He’ll use a wand that comfortably fits into your mouth, and will scan over each tooth to capture its unique structure and shape. The iTero scanner with create a digital image of your smile, which Dr. Stormberg can show you and keep you up-to-date on your treatment progress.
